Ramble Together
We are absolutely beside ourselves with excitement as we introduce Ramble Together. Our team has been working hard for several months to create the content in this book, and now we get to share it with each and every one of you.
What Is It?
Ramble Together is a study that invites you to slow down your racing heart, pull back the grey curtain of monotony and routine, and remember the beauty and courage within you. This guide provokes thoughts and questions that encourage you to slow down and be attentive with yourself because when we are cared for, we can be better women.
Why?
We live in the loudest era there has ever been. The flickering images we scroll through, the outpouring of opinions and ideas, and the steady flow of information flood us with expectations and distracts us from life in front of us as well as inside of us. We lose the art of intention. We lose the gift of presence. We exchange genuine relationships for a blinking cursor that filters our thoughts on a computer screen. In time, it chips away at our character. Knocking down hope, distracting us from dreams, and pressuring us to be someone we are not. We lose ourselves to the chaos and become lonelier than ever before.
Ramble Together gently guides you out of the noise and back to yourself and face-to-face community. With a friend or a group of women, you embark on a six-chapter journey that cultivates self-awareness, reignites joy, and reminds you of the rich goodness of having true friends. At Ramble and Company, we believe that friendship is powerful and that community is built through listening and learning together. The pages of this book are filled with our own experiences that have led us through trying and rewarding times, and like the friend we aspire to be to others, we hope to extend our hands to you full of lessons and failures, laughter and tears to remind you that you are never alone.
How Does It Work?
First, make a plan. Set aside time to read through one chapter over the course of 6 weeks (or longer, whatever works for you!). Then, plan to meet with a friend or a group of women at the end of each chapter. Make sure everyone is on board.
Next, you are encouraged to walk through each chapter on your own time. Creating a comfortable and quiet space to relax, focus, and reflect.
Bring your answers, thoughts, and epiphany’s to your group meeting each week. Together, you will make space for one another to practice vulnerability and listening, spending intentional time seeing one another and lifting one another up.
